Stewart McKelvey extends congratulations to Halifax Managing Partner John Rogers, Q.C. as he completes a successful year as Chairman of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce.

As Atlantic Canada’s first and largest regional law firm, Stewart McKelvey has always had a history of leadership.

John Rogers is an example of the experience and leadership qualities that have made Stewart McKelvey such a successful and highly regarded firm. Recognized by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner, John has practiced in the area of commercial and insurance litigation for over 20 years. He has also taught civil trial practice at Dalhousie Law School and been a speaker and panelist at many conferences.

A great believer in giving back to both his profession and his community, John is the current Co-Chair of the Department of Justice Liaison Committee with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, Vice Chair and Director of the IWK Health Centre, a Director of the Junior Achievement of Canada Foundation, and a Director of the Halifax 2011 Canada Games Host Society.
